Rutracker + pop up dictionary. Reg VK for memes and liberashka news, Yandex for search and services, youtube for casual video content, flibusta for books
You don't need to learn grammar at all, just vocab. Though, you can make sentences in anki when there is only one word or grammar point you don't know or quite understand in it. We don't often use "to be" auxiliary and that's it, you are good to go

Best reply ever. Russian, with a few important exceptions, is read just the way the letters sound. None of that sz or ch bullshit. So you have to have an absolute mastery of the alphabet just to begin. The soft sounds you will make sense of later on. This is what helped me.
Other than that, immersion. As with any language.
I'm Russian and even for me, simply relearning it was super hard. Though, I have a room temp IQ so maybe I'm not a great sample size.
Don't trust the ukie, they don't speak Russian. Russian is officially a foreign language in ukistan, why would you want someone who ain't a native speaker to help you with the language? They'll teach you some crap Polish-Russian pidgin full of dumb redneck ukrainisms like Я ЗА ТОБОЙ СКУЧАЮ or В УКРАИНУ.

Now let me tell you that growing totalitarianism is an actual threat you see in Russia still missing that same thing hapenning in your own country. And it seems today it has even more effect on you than on us. Seems mostly because of your social sit. you're forced to abide all your laws without a question. It's not the same thing here in Russia. You know, you can't solve all issues at once and, as you can see, many people here will oppose your thoughts just based on our common negative past, so start with those things which are easier to reach, like your family, neighbours or gov letting people suffer from foreign invasions.
